PACKAGE D43 – SEWERAGE NETWORK IN BATU, JINJANG AND KEPONG (DESIGN & BUILD)

DESCRIPTION

The Government of Malaysia, through Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembetungan, has awarded the Project to a Design & Build Contractor who has appointed SMHB as Design Engineer for the civil, structural, mechanical and electrical works.

SMHB’s scope includes the following:

  1. Optimise the concept design of trunk sewer network and pumping stations for Phase 1 works
  2. Detailed design of sewer network and pumping stations
  3. Prepare detailed mechanical, electrical and instrumentation drawings and BQ
  4. Prepare specifications for Civil, Structure, Mechanical & Electrical works
  5. Assist the Contractor in survey, SI and utility mapping works
  6. Assist in obtaining cost estimates of M&E works and getting quotes from suppliers/manufacturers
  7. Supervision of construction works and review of sub-contractors’ submission

The Sewer Network at Batu, Jinjang Kepong is part of the “River of Life” project aimed at revitalising the Klang River into a heritage and commercial centre.

The River of Life is one of the projects under Greater Kuala Lumpur initiative implemented under the Government Economic Transformation Program.
