KLANG VALLEY MASS RAPID TRANSIT PROJECT LINE 1

DESCRIPTION

The Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) Project Line 1 comprised the following:

  • Route length is approximately 51 km, with 41 km elevated guide way and 10km underground tunnel.
  • Twin track for elevated section, on elevated segmental box girder viaduct. Twin tunnel for underground section.
  • 35 nos. of stations along the alignment; 8 underground and 27 elevated, with 4 nos. of the station interface/integrate with KTMB, AMG and KLJ LRT lines.
  • 2 Depots, one at Sg. Buloh and one at Kajang.
  • Park and Ride facilities.

SMHB Sdn Bhd has been appointed by MMC Corporation Bhd-Gamuda Bhd Joint Venture (MGJV) as the Lead Consultant for the detailed design of the Sixth Section covering package V6, V7, V8 and Kajang depot (from Plaza Phoenix to Kajang) of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) Project and construction supervision for Packages V5 to V8 and Kajang depot.

The scope of works covers architectural, environmental, geotechnical, civil and structural works, track works and mechanical and electrical works for building services for about 20 km of elevated guideway, 12 stations and 1 depot.

SERVICES PROVIDED

Detailed design and construction supervision.
