SEWERAGE CATCHMENT REVIEW STUDY FOR PENCALA-PANTAI & RIVER OF LIFE PRECINCT I-II

“River of Life” is a plan to transform 10.7 km stretch of Sungai Klang and Sungai Gombak in Kuala Lumpur City Centre into a vibrant waterfront by 2020 with long term objective to clean up balance of 110 km. The beautification of the 10.7 km stretch by Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur involves Precincts 1 to 11. Trunk sewer lines serving Precincts 1 and 2 are missing presently. The Client wishes to identify status and condition for the Penchala-Pantai Catchment and Precincts 1 to 11 with emphasis on Precincts 1 & 2.

The Study has been carried out in 2 phases:

Phase 1: Sewerage and Sludge Catchment Study and Conceptual Design including costing for sewerage system improvement and capacity improvement for Precincts 1 to 11 RoL with emphasis for Precincts 1&2 (6 months)

Phase 2: Overall catchment study including costing for sewerage system improvements and capacity assessment for whole of Pantai, including Pantai-Penchala catchment (3 months).

SMHB provides a strong team comprising engineers with extensive experience in sewerage network, sewage treatment and sludge treatment study and projects in Malaysia, Brunei and Syria.
