DEVELOPMENT OF INTEGRATED 40MW SMALL HYDROPOWER PLANT IN THE TELEKOSANG RIVER BASIN, TENOM, SABAH
Telekosang Hydro One Sdn Bhd and Telekosang Hydro Two Sdn Bhd jointly developed the proposed Telekosang Hydropower Scheme in two clusters: SHP Telekosang 1 (22 MW) and SHP Telekosang 2 (18 MW).
The scheme is implemented on a Build, Own and Operate (BOO) concept with Renewable Energy Power Purchase Agreement for 21 years and adhere to the Sustainable Energy Development Authority in Sabah.
SMHB was appointed as Owner’s Engineer to carry out professional services for the Project including review of EPCC tender document, design review for compliance with EPCC tender requirements, applicable practices and codes, and reasonableness of Contractor’s proposals, factory inspection, review operation and maintenance manual, contract administration, work progress during construction and performance of plant during defect liability period.
