PUTRAJAYA BUS AND TAXI TERMINAL -PRECINCTS I & 9, PUTRAJAYA
The Precinct 1 and 9 Bus and Taxi terminals serve the initial phase of the new government administration centre pending the completion of the main transport terminals on the western and eastern edge of Putrajaya. The terminals have alighting and boarding bays, taxi bays, ticketing offices and passenger amenities to provide public transport services in the early years while awaiting the completion of the main public transportation network which includes a rail link to Kuala Lumpur and KUA and an intracity monorail supported by feeder buses, park and ride facilities.
SMHB was involved in providing the civil and structural design and subsequent supervision in the construction, testing and commissioning of the terminals, as well as the mechanical and electrical design. The terminals were completed in March 2000.
The mechanical and electrical services for the terminals are LV Electrical Services, Telephone Services, Air-conditioning, mechanical Ventilation Services and Plumbing Services.
